ABOUT YOUR JOURNAL
You will turn in a journal each Friday. Each week, your journal should contain at least 20 sentences. The 20 sentences can be divided into 2 smaller entries, or one large entry. You can write more than 20 sentences, but not less. A sentence starts with a capital letter and ends with a period.
Journals should be in a lined 8.5" x 11" notebook that you use only for this purpose. You should leave every other line blank so I can comment and edit easily.
What can you write about? Almost anything:
I grade your journals on completion, so if you write 20 original sentences, you will get a 100% on the assignment. I will also generate a weekly error log for you with things you should watch out for in your writing.

- Challenges or successes you had in using English.
- Reactions to news stories you see or books or articles that you read.
