GOALS FOR WEEK 1
By the end of this week, you will:
  1. Understand the goals and requirements of this course.
  2. Get to know your classmates and your teacher.
  3. Understand what textbooks, materials, and online systems you need to have for this class.
  4. Review present and past tense verb forms.
  5. Discuss good presentation skills and learn what you need to do for your first presentation.

-Welcome and review syllabus
-Human treasure hunt
-Review website, including listening log.

-GS Chapter 1
-Start Lecture Ready Chapter 1, pp. 1-4


HOMEWORK
-Start Listening Log #1, due next Tuesday
-Set up online textbook accounts and begin homework: GS Chapter 1 and 2




THURSDAY
-Warm-up

-Grammar Sense Chapter 2
-Lecture-Ready Chapter 1, pp. 5-7


HOMEWORK
-Start Listening Log #1, due next Tuesday
-Complete GS Chapter 1-2 online activities--do as many times as needed to earn a score of 100% and write down questions you had doubts about.
-Study for quiz tomorrow on Grammar Sense Chapters 1 and 2.
