By the end of this week, you will:

1. Learn about two structures for a summary-response essay and complete your first draft.
   
2. Discuss how to recognize objective and subjective tone in writing.
3. Learn how to form passive and perfect gerunds and infinitives.
   
4. Learn and practice structures for introducing data and sources in academic writing.
   
5. Learn about reporting verbs and how to express reported speech in English.
6. Learn academic vocabulary through our novel and textbooks.
7. Continue practicing skimming and scanning texts for information.
