GOALS FOR WEEK 10
By the end of this week, you will:
  1. Practice understanding academic lectures through student-led discussions.
  2. Prepare for and give an academically-oriented persuasive speech.
  3. Learn about mixed conditionals.
  4. Continue to learn academic English vocabulary from our textbook and other sources.
MONDAY

-Work on persuasive presentation


HOMEWORK
-Continue working on your persuasive presentation: 1) Look at library.gmu.edu and find at least 3 sources that can help your presentation (remember to paraphrase or put direct quotations in quotes). 2) Watch the sample presentations again and see if you can do some of the good things in your presentation that they did in theirs.
-Start Listening Log #10, due Monday

-Keep on working on Q Chapter 7 online homework.
