  3. Understand how country music reflects the realities of rural America.
  4. Analyze songs by Florida Georgia Line, Luke Bryan, and Chris Stapleton.

HOMEWORK

-Listen to two or three country music songs. What do you notice is the difference in sound and ideas between country and regular pop music? Write your answers here.

-Discuss "That's My Kind of Night" by Luke Bryan
and "Nobody to Blame" by Chris Stapleton ("Bro-Country" vs. "Roots Country")

-Pick a country and western song to analyze and complete the Song Analysis Form. Bring the completed form on Tuesday.
