1. Practice understanding academic lectures through student-led discussions.
2. Give and evaluate an academically-oriented persuasive speech.
3. Practice mixed conditionals and gerunds vs. infinitives.
   
4. Learn about formal debate arguments and rebuttals as part of work on persuasive speech.
5. Continue to learn academic English vocabulary from our textbook and other sources.
