By the end of this week, you will:

1. Review language needed for describing data and charts.
   
2. Review suffixes that show parts of speech.
   
3. Work on persuasive essay skills.
4. Finish final reading/writing project for The Giver.
5. Develop academic reading skills.

MONDAY
Materials:
Numbers Packet
-Warm-up
-Start discussing cardinal and ordinal numbers
-Finish Q Unit 4: Suffixes
-Giver project writing time

HOMEWORK
-Finish Q Unit 4 online homework (all of Unit 4 and Unit 4 practice test, except activities 13, 14, 15), due Tuesday (test same day)
-Upload first draft of The Giver final reading-writing project to Blackboard Discussion Board by class time Thursday
-Last journal due Friday. Topic: How I Have Grown This Semester. Use at least one second conditional, present perfect progressive, passive, relative clause, AND adverb clause to get full credit.

TUESDAY
