  2. Review past tenses in English and understand how to form and use the past perfect.
  3. Practice scanning for specific details in academic readings.
  4. Learn what a process-analysis essay is and begin writing one.
  5. Understand what makes a strong essay introduction.
  6. Build academic vocabulary through reading our textbooks and outside sources.
