GOALS FOR WEEK 7
By the end of this week, you will:

1. Learn how to form object relative clauses.
2. Continue to practice distinguishing identifying and non-identifying relative clauses.
3. Review transition words of cause and effect.
   
4. Discuss supporting ideas and details in cause-effect writing.
   
5. Complete work on a cause-effect essay, including basic APA citation for outside sources.
6. Learn academic vocabulary through our novel, textbooks, and online homework.
7. Have a mid-term conference with me to discuss your progress and any concerns.

MONDAY

-Work on Journal 7 for Friday (Open topic--use at least 1 identifying and 1 non-identifying object relative clause in your work to get full credit).
-GAB Online Workbook Unit 22 on object relative clauses due Friday, March 6, by class time.
-Read Chapters 11-12 (pp. 101-121) of The Giver and complete Homework 5 for Tuesday, 3/17, as well as your book club job. NO CLASS MONDAY 3/16!!
