By the end of this week, you will:

1. Learn how to incorporate quotes and paraphrases into your research draft.
   
2. Continue to practice paraphrasing.
   
3. Discuss how to increase coherence and cohesion in your writing.
   
4. Continue to practice hedging language and discuss how to avoid overgeneralizations in academic writing.
5. Review the three sentence types and how to avoid the three types of sentence problems.
6. Produce a first draft for your research paper and check it for plagiarism with SafeAssign.  
7. Time your reading speed.
8. Learn academic vocabulary through our textbook.
